Shuffle.

This seems to be an ongoing problem for me, this keeping a blog going. Although, stopping to think about it, it's not really a "Problem" in the way that "starvation", "poverty", or "death" are a problem, now is it?

At any rate, I've tried my hand at several different blogs over the years, and I've discovered that there's too much compartmentalization going on. That's at least part of the reason I seem to peter out after a while. Another part is that I'm fairly private. I tend to see these online journals as more tabloid confessional than places to store any sort of memory.

I'm restarting. One of my favorite books is stylistically based around a deck of cards. Whenever the author wants to change pace or topic without breaking a chapter, there's a line break, and then "shuffle", and then he continues on.
